Palace Beograd, better known as Beograđanka, is a business skyscraper located in the center of Belgrade between Kralja Milana and Masarikova streets. Completed in 1974 and designed by architect Branko Pešić, the building rises 101 meters with 23 floors. At the time of its completion, it was the tallest building in the Balkans and considered one of the most modern in the region. It was regarded as the first 'smart' building in Serbia due to its computer-controlled technical systems. Recognizable by its dark facade with aluminum curtain walls and double-glazed windows, the structure was engineered to withstand strong winds and earthquakes. The building was designed for business use and housed numerous companies and media outlets, including Studio B. It once featured a public observation deck on the 22nd floor. Today, it remains one of the most recognizable symbols of Belgrade.
